Crystal Head Vodka Skull Packaging

Actor Dan Aykroyd has partnered with artist John Alexander to launch Crystal Head Vodka. John Alexander, designer of the Head, continues to exhibit internationally and produce master works from his studio in Long Island. While Dan Aykroyds interests in spirits and brand promotion originated with his co-founding of House of Blues Entertainment Inc. The name Crystal Head Vodka is a tribute to the 13 Crystal Skulls found in various locations around the world and the fact that Crystal Head Vodka is the purest spirit possible. I thought this packaging design was fitting in anticipation of Halloween. My local wine store Green Grape has just ordered a few cases if you are looking to procure some.

Now that is officially fall I thought I would share this Fall 2009 Color Report from Pantone. Here is a little bit about what Pantone has to say about this years fall colors...

Lonny Magazine is a new online home decor magazine launched by Domino alums, Michelle Adams and Patrick Cline. The magazine is only online but is full of all of the beautiful design inspiration we have been missing since Domino shut down.
