In the long list of recent publications to close, today ID Magazine announces its closing. The publication has been in print for 55 years. It is weird to see things in the design industry changing so fast. I am sad to see another beloved magazine out of print. I mean who doesn't love the web but I wonder how much we will love it when that is all we have left.

Used to read in desgn school. Now I find myself not able to aford the price tag of good design Mag's.

Good point. I don't even bring a magazine into the "library" anymore. My iTouch is the new read.

It IS sad, but understandable to some degree. Whenever I checked-out magazine racks, I rarely made I.D. the choice for spending my $$. RIP ID.
